The concept of Anusara Yoga can be described in three areas:
- Attitude - This concept is related to the heart and its power or will behind a pose.
- Alignment - This is described as the power of our awareness. This concept is linked to the mind and is an awareness of the mind that allows many parts of our body connect together.
- Action - This is the power of an action and is linked to the body. It is the flow of energy in the body that provides stability and freedom.
What does it involve?
This type of yoga is beneficial for your physical wellness as the alignment in a pose is focused on. There are a number of poses from Hatha Yoga, including backwards and forwards bends, twists, and hand-balancing.
What are the classes like?
As mentioned above, teachers do not correct as much, however, they do encourage spiritual well-being as well as the physical.
