What is Viniyoga?
As an infant, yoga helps to develop the mind and body. However, as reaches adulthood yoga is applied to improving and protecting your health and increasing your productivity in the world. Viniyoga is not as such a type of yoga but rather the method that is applied, developing one’s practice. This type of yoga entails different ways that the tools of yoga are adapted. It acknowledges the fact that as you grow your posture improves and your method must change.
What does it involve?
- The correct application of breath, whilst paying much attention to it.
- Static and dynamic poses
- Careful and effective sequencing of these poses
- The revision and improvement of poses
Who is Viniyoga good for?
Viniyoga is good for all age groups including people who have Arterial Hypertension.
This yoga is not recommended to those who have suffered or are undergoing the following:
- Dialysis
- Relevant rhythm disorders
- Surgery no more than four weeks old
- ST-elevation myocardial infarction within the last four weeks
